Dr. Winston I Skerrett, Jr., is a graduate of Howard University with a Ph.D. in Political Science with specializations in Comparative Politics and International Relations and expertise in Economic Development and Political Economy. Dr. Skerrett also holds an MPA from CUNY John Jay College, specializing in Fiscal Policy Analysis and Investigation & Oversight, and a BA in History and Africana Studies with a minor in Latin America & Caribbean Area Studies from SUNY Binghamton, and a graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.
Dr. Skerrett is a U.S Air Force and Army veteran with 20+ years of demonstrated military & federal experience of accomplished management & program analyst career success in developing, implementing, and maintaining strategies, programs, policies, grants management and best-practices for major governmental, and private sector initiatives to facilitate business, horizontal & vertical integration promoting aggressive innovation; and skilled at implementing solutions and institutional growth.
Dr. Skerrett also has 20+ of federal government experience implementing frameworks to analyze comparative and political economic issues, country analysis, engaging in teaching diverse audiences in topics concerning governance, compliance, public policy, political science, and presenting complex concepts in an accessible manner.
